Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto noted in Jakarta on Wednesday that the government had extended the offer to the authorities of Palestine and other related countries.
"I have told them (Palestinian authorities) that all TNI hospitals are ready to provide treatments for the war victims there. Currently, we are discussing the technical matters for evacuating and bringing the victims here," he remarked at the Office of the Defense Ministry.
He noted that the offer had been well-received by Palestine and several related countries.
"So far, I have spoken to the Egyptian Ambassador, Palestinian Ambassador, and also, the Ambassador of the United States. They all responded to the offer positively, as they see Indonesia's willingness to help overcome the humanitarian crisis," Subianto stated.
The minister further noted that Indonesia had also offered to send a hospital ship to the waters near Gaza and build field hospitals in the vicinity of the besieged enclave.
"As soon as we receive a green light, we will send the hospital ship," he noted.

Since October this year, Israeli forces have continued to shell Gaza Strip, a Palestinian enclave that shares borders with Egypt, resulting in over 10 thousand casualties, including children, women, and elderly.
Despite facing pressure from most members of the United Nations, including Indonesia, to put an end to the bombardment for the sake of humanity, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had yet to show intention to comply.
Israel has taken control over border gates, including the one in Rafah that connects Gaza with Egypt's Sinai, thereby making it difficult for Palestinians in Gaza to both leave and enter their homeland.
Moreover, the Israeli authorities have been restricting the flow of distribution of goods to Gaza, including humanitarian aid needed by the people in the enclave.
Earlier, on Saturday (November 4), the Indonesian government sent humanitarian aid, weighing 51.5 tons in total, to Gaza. The aid arrived at El Arish Airport, Egypt, on Monday (November 6), and was received by the Egyptian Red Crescent.
The aid will be delivered to Palestinians in Gaza by the Egyptian Red Crescent in collaboration with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
