The arrival of six F-16 fighter aircraft comprising five F-16 AM/BM aircraft from Air Squadron 3, one F-16 D aircraft from Air Squadron 14 at the Iswahjudi Air Base, and one CN 295 aircraft from Air Squadron 2 marked the start of the final phase.
"By increasing the forces involved, we hope we can increase the complexity and capability of interoperability platform in achieving air operations' mission objectives, especially by combining combat tactics between the Indonesian Air Force and the RSAF," Head of the Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base, Lieutenant Colonel Bambang Apriyanto, stated on Tuesday.
Apriyanto, who is concurrently the training director, remarked that the 4th JFWC MOT phase was held on November 13-16 at the Pekanbaru Joint Training Area, with the involvement of more than 15 aircraft.

During the MOT phase, the JFWC candidates will act as Mission Commander (MC) to execute joint air operation orders given by the upper command, he remarked.
"This week, the progress of the JFWC enters its 6th week. The troops will act as MC to execute the joint air operations orders," Apriyanto stated.
In receiving this order, candidates were required to plan air operations tactics based on their tasks. Existing targets and threats should also be eliminated effectively and efficiently, he added.
According to Apriyanto, this type of MOT training is the implementation and development of all basic air combat capabilities for which training had been provided in the previous phase of the JFWC.
