Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana will cast their vote for the 2024 General Elections on February 14 at Polling Station No. 10 in Gambir, Central Jakarta.

They received their voter notification card from Hamdy Basjar, the head of Polling Station No. 10 organizing committee, at the Merdeka Palace here on Monday.

"We have just delivered the voter notification card to the President and the First Lady," Basjar informed.

The President's polling station is located in the State Administration Agency Building in Gambir sub-district, east of the Presidential Palace, he said.

The polling station will serve 120 voters included in the final voters' list. It will also serve voters included in the additional voters' list (DPTb) and voters who register on the spot at the polling station.

"Mr. President, God Willing, will cast his vote here. The President and the First Lady probably will come to the polling station between 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.," he said.

He added that the President cast his vote at the same polling station in the 2019 General Election.

Meanwhile, Basjar informed that besides the President and the First Lady, other officials will vote at Polling Station No. 10. However, the identities of the officials will be known only when they come to the polling station on Election Day.

"There are other officials included in the DPTb, but I do not know who they are. DPTb means they are not registered here as they applied (polling station changes) directly to the city-level KPU (General Elections Commission). Hence, we will only know who they are during Election Day," he explained.

Basjar further said that the President reminded him and other election officials serving voters on Election Day to perform their duty truthfully, firmly, and thoroughly to ensure the election's success.

"So, the Indonesian people will enjoy this fiesta of democracy," the electoral organizer remarked.
