Bogor, West Java (ANTARA) - Presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka won by a landslide at Polling Station No. 33 in Bojong Koneng village, Bogor district, West Java, the same place where Prabowo cast his vote, on Wednesday.

Prabowo's running mate Gibran cast his vote in his hometown Surakarta in Central Java.

The Prabowo-Gibran pair garnered 236 votes at the polling station. Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar won 11 votes, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD just three.

A total of 257 voters, including two registered on the polling station's additional voter's list (DPTb), cast their vote at Polling Station No. 33.

There were two invalid votes.

The presidential hopeful exercised his voting right at 9 a.m. local time (UTC +7). He was accompanied by his adjutant, Major Teddy Indra Wijaya, and his private secretaries.

He completed voting at 9:17 a.m. before returning to his residence in Hambalang village, also in Bogor district.

Prabowo continued with his Election Day agenda by visiting his South Jakarta residence, where he met some of the executives of the Prabowo-Gibran national campaign team. Thereafter, he went to Djakarta Theatre in Central Jakarta to monitor the quick count result.

According to the campaign team secretary, Nusron Wahid, Prabowo will deliver a speech to his supporters at the Istora Senayan arena within the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex on Wednesday evening.

More than 204 million Indonesian voters cast their ballot on February 14, 2024, to elect the president, vice president, and members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Regional Representatives Council (DPD), and regional legislatures (DPRD) at the provincial, city, and district levels.

The three candidate pairs vying for national leadership in this year's election are Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (candidate pair number one); Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka (pair number two); and Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD (pair number three).

According to KPU Regulation No. 3 of 2022, the nationwide vote recapitulation for the 2024 Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20.
