Apart from invitees, the open house is off-limits for others, including residents waiting for Subianto on the road in front of his home. They flocked to the road, while vehicles carrying officials and volunteers entered Subianto's home one after the other.
However, at 4 p.m. Jakarta time, the president-elect came out from his home and greeted residents and volunteers waiting for him since Wednesday afternoon.
"Thank you all. I ask for your forgiveness. Happy Eid to all," Subianto told residents and volunteers flocking to his home.
Subianto then retreated to his home to continue the open house with government officials, including those from his ministry.
As of 4:48 p.m. Jakarta time, the officials who attended Subianto's open house comprised Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Secretary General of the Defense Ministry Donny Ermawan Taufanto, and Rector of the Indonesian Defense University Lieutenant General Jonni Mahroza.

Former Constitutional Court Chief Justice Jimly Asshidiqie and former Indonesian Air Force Chief of Staff Fadjar Prasetyo were also seen at the open house.
Moreover, Golkar Party Advisory Council Chairperson Aburizal Bakrie and members of the Prabowo-Gibran Presidential Campaign Team Hasan Nasbi and Boy Rafli Amar also attended the open house.
Subianto also received former minister and fellow military retiree Agum Gumelar at his residence earlier on Wednesday. Gumelar, his senior in the military, served as a member of the advisory council of his presidential campaign team.
The president-elect started his Eid al-Fitr activity by attending the Eid prayer in Hambalang, Bogor District, West Java, on Wednesday morning, before making a short trip to his home on Kertanegara Road.
He then attended the open house hosted by President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana at the Presidential Palace before returning to his residence for his own open house.
Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka is expected to visit Subianto during the open house. However, Gibran's visit has not been confirmed.
