Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor called on the industrial world to support the government to realize harmonious industrial relations by implementing the "Pancasila Industrial Relations Implementation Guideline."

According to the ministry's statement received here on Friday, Deputy Minister Noor urged companies to commit to implementing the guideline as what has been stipulated in Ministerial Decree Number 76 of 2024.

"Ministerial Decree Number 76 of 2024 is issued in an effort to create harmonious and democratic industrial relations based on the values of Pancasila," he remarked at a factory groundbreaking ceremony in Indramayu, West Java, on Thursday (May 2).

Noor explained that the Pancasila Industrial Relations Guideline prioritizes adaptive and collaborative principles through deliberation for consensus, family values, and mutual assistance, or gotong royong.

The deputy minister remarked that these principles need to be revived and echoed by all parties, as the industrial relations model based on Pancasila instills national values that can serve as noble perspectives in all aspects of life.

"I consider that Pancasila Industrial Relations will be very effective in reducing the dynamics and turmoil in the field of industrial relations in Indonesia and at the same time encouraging the growth of harmonious industrial relations and having an impact on economic growth," he said.

He stated that the Manpower Ministry is open and willing to listen to all complaints, suggestions, and constructive criticism, so that the world of employment can improve.

"Let us commit to solving every problem by prioritizing deliberation, so that Indonesia can show the world that it is a dignified country and is not inferior in competing with other countries," Noor remarked.
