Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin called on recipients of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund to utilize the funding on-target to encourage inclusive and green economic development.

"I hope that CSR recipients really be on-target, so that it (the program) can be beneficial for village communities to encourage inclusive and environmentally-friendly economic development," Amin stated here on Tuesday.

Amin made this statement while giving a speech at the 2024 State-owned Enterprises (SOEs/BUMN)/Private CSR Program and Sustainable Village Development Awards in Jakarta.

He also commended SOEs, private companies, village-owned enterprises (BUMDesa), and local players who have remained committed to their CSR programs and help the government in achieving development targets.

To this end, he expected BUMDesa to innovate in creating businesses that optimize community empowerment and opening sustainable jobs.

"Human resources must be able to forge themselves to be superior, more creative, innovative, and adaptive to the dynamics in order to contribute to nation building," Amin stated.
