"We are ready to carry out trials of the arena. All arenas are ready," he announced at a media gathering here on Friday.
He stated that all facilities and supporting infrastructure for the implementation of PON in the region are ready.
In addition, Fatoni informed Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy, that the preparation of the North Sumatra Main Stadium has reached 73.16 percent.
He assured that the province's preparations have been running smoothly and will be completed on time.
"So far, there is no serious problem. We are optimistic that this will be on time and based on the President's directives," he said.
Meanwhile, chair of the National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI), Marciano Norman, said that his side will invite technical delegates to inspect the arenas.
