“This illustrates that from Sabang to Merauke we have experienced equitable development and WSBP is here to continue to support, both in our downstream and upstream projects,” said Sena Eka Hanafi, VP of Sales WSBP.
Up to the first semester of the year, WSBP has secured 243 contracts totaling Rp648 billion for Area 1, 269 contracts totaling Rp668 billion for Area 2, 363 contracts totaling Rp203 billion for Area 3, 217 contracts totaling Rp388 billion for Area 4, and 66 contracts worth Rp28 billion for Area 5. The large number of product orders in various regions in Indonesia is inseparable from WSBP's efforts to continue to maintain and improve customer satisfaction. WSBP always provides technical support both before contractual and after sales, establishes strategic partnerships, seeks geographical expansion with sales in five areas, and continues to focus on product segmentation. Based on the data, there was a 54% increase in the number of customers from 2022, which amounted to 196 customers, to 305 customers in 2023.
“To ensure customers return to choose our services, WSBP implements a marketing agent empowerment strategy. Currently, WSBP has more than 100 sales agents spread across five main areas. In addition, we are also rebranding to adapt to the ease of access that people now have,” Sena added.
WSBP undertook various sales innovations, ranging from rebranding by launching a new mascot “Mas BP” to personalize the WSBP brand, launching a new enhanced website to increase public awareness of WSBP concrete products and services, and launching a new website hello.waskitaprecast.co.id as a one-stop platform for new customers to connect with sales areas.
WSBP continues to innovate in improving the quality of its products, including Precast products for bridge construction, especially long spans. One of the significant innovations is the development of Body Stiffener, Upper Wing Lateral Stiffener (which has been patented), and improvement of PC-I Girder cross section into Semi-T Girder. These innovations were designed to address the challenges of non-standard PC-I Girder with long spans that are prone to horizontal (lateral) deflection, which can result in cracking, warping, breaking, or even falling. By reinforcing the girder with a body stiffener that can increase stiffness by 15%, while the stiffener on the upper wing can increase stiffness by 274%, WSBP succeeded in creating a more reliable and safe solution.
“The application of this innovation has proven effective in the field, including on the 50.8km Cibitung-Cilincing Toll road construction project, where no failures such as bending or other damage were found during the erection process. This confirms the superiority of the Stiffener and Semi-T Girder innovations developed by WSBP,” said Fikri Ramadhanu, Junior Expert Engineering & Innovation Precast & Post Tension WSBP.
With these various efforts, it shows WSBP's commitment to become a One Stop Solution in the integrated concrete industry, Construction and Modular and Supporting Equipment according to customer needs. Of course, in its implementation WSBP continues to carry out Good Governance and risk management by applying ethics and compliance with all applicable regulations in every business process of the company.
