The president made the statement while opening the BNI Investor Daily Summit 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) here on Tuesday.
He expressed satisfaction with the smooth running of the presidential transition ahead of President-elect Prabowo Subianto's inauguration on October 20.
President Jokowi emphasized that preparations ahead of the inauguration are running well, with work plans and programs being prepared thoroughly.
"Plans for main programs that will be carried out by Mr. Prabowo are prepared well by the current ministers," he remarked.
Jokowi noted that Prabowo has frequently met with Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati to discuss preparations for the 2025 Draft State Budget.
He also recalled that the presidential transition process during his time in 2014, which took around one to 1.5 years, was a precious experience.
"It means we lost 1-1.5 years. To this end, I am delighted that the current government transition process, with only 12 days left, is running well and smoothly," he remarked.
At the BNI Investor Daily Summit 2024, President Jokowi addressed approximately two thousand attendees, including government agency leaders, ambassadors from friendly nations, ministers of the Onward Indonesia Cabinet, academics, business professionals, and students.
