Jakarta (ANTARA) - Renowned celebrity and businessman Raffi Farid Ahmad accentuated his readiness to serve the nation after President Prabowo Subianto named him Presidential Special Envoy for the Development of the Young Generation and Artists.

"Thank God, the inauguration went smoothly. I am all prepared to work, devoting myself to the nation and the country," he told the media after his inauguration at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday.

Ahmad said he awaits an opportunity to meet with the president to discuss his tasks before sharing details about his work programs.

He then affirmed that as presidential special envoy, he would strive to accelerate the implementation of programs formulated by the Red and White Cabinet oriented towards helping Indonesian youths and artists thrive and prosper.

Furthermore, the special envoy emphasized that he is open to working synergistically with all parties to ensure the success of the government's programs.

"Apart from artists, I would also like to collaborate with people from all elements of society," he stressed.

Ahmad highlighted that presidential special envoys are tasked with synchronizing and accelerating steps under the directives of the head of state to benefit the people.

Ahmad was among the seven appointed as presidential special envoys for the 2024-2029 period based on Presidential Decree No.76/M of 2024 signed by President Prabowo on October 21.

During his inauguration, Ahmad was accompanied by his wife, Nagita Slavina, also a known celebrity.

In addition to Ahmad, President Prabowo also inducted another celebrity, musician Yovie Widiyanto, to his administration as Presidential Special Staff for Creative Economy.
