Kabupaten Bogor (ANTARA) - Commission IX of the House of Representatives (DPR) commended the trial of the Free Nutritious Meal program conducted by the Bogor District Government, West Java, at SDN Pakansari 1 in Cibinong, Friday.

Head of the Specific Working Visit Team of Commission IX, M. Yahya Zaini, expressed delight in witnessing the students' positive response to the nutritional food program.

"We have seen directly how happy and enthusiastic they are. Our students are so joyful," he remarked.

Zaini assessed that the trial of the priority program of President Prabowo Subianto in the area went smoothly, though Commission IX will continue its evaluation through a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) with the National Nutrition Agency.

"As the acting district head of Bogor (Bachril Bakri) said, meal distribution must be scheduled to avoid disrupting class activities," Zaini remarked.

Meanwhile, Bakri explained that 665 students were provided food priced at Rp15 thousand per serving at SDN Pakansari 1 for five days.

Menus on the first day of the trial featured rice, fruit, vegetables, processed chicken, and eggs as well as milk.

"We expand this trial through the CSR program," he remarked.

The Bogor district government will also conduct the trial at SMPN 3 Cibungbulang on November 18-22, with a total of 829 students.
