Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto received letters of credentials from seven ambassadors of friendly countries at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday.

They comprised:

1. Marc Gerritsen, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Indonesia, and spouse;

2. Roberto Sarmento de Oliveira Saores, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the Republic of Indonesia, and spouse;

3. Martin Makururu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Indonesia, and spouse;

4. Oybek Eshonov, Designate Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Indonesia;

5. Wang Lutong, Designate Resident Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Indonesia;

6. Abdelouahab Osmane, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Indonesia;

7. Enkhtaivan Dashnyam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of Mongolia to Indonesia, and spouse.

They arrived around 2:07 p.m. and were greeted by a guard of honor by members of the Presidential Security Guard (Paspampres).

Thereafter, they met President Prabowo in the credentials room of the Palace.
