"Earlier, we highlighted a number of priority programs pursued by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, including one related to the President's directive against online gambling," she informed at a press conference after meeting with Hadi at her office here on Thursday.
Hafid also said that she spotlighted the creation of safe digital space for all as one of the top objectives of her ministry.
The minister affirmed that the government has the responsibility to keep Indonesia's digital space safe from digital crimes, especially those that pose a threat to people financially.
She emphasized that the Communication and Digital Affairs Ministry is committed to making all-out efforts to safeguard Indonesia's sovereignty in the digital space by paving the way for a reliable digital ecosystem and data security.
Speaking about the third priority program, Hafid said that she intends to direct the government to pay closer attention to uniform Internet connectivity, which she views as a prerequisite to successful nationwide digital transformation.
"Those are our top programs that we conveyed to the state secretary minister in the hopes of him forwarding them to Mr. President (Prabowo Subianto) for prioritization," she told the media.
She further said that the synergy forged between her ministry and the State Secretariat Ministry reflects the government's cohesive efforts toward realizing the Asta Cita, or eight main missions, promoted by President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"Collaboration between the two ministries is instrumental in disseminating the steps to be taken by President Prabowo's administration to the public," she added.
