In a statement received here on Friday, she said that the acceleration must involve measurable and consistent measures and also be supported by all elements of the nation.
One of the steps that are currently being implemented by the government is collecting data on the learning profiles of students with special needs.
"The government's efforts to collect data on the learning profiles of students to identify the needs of students as a basis for fulfilling the rights of students with special needs must be supported by all parties," she said.
Furthermore, Moerdijat noted that efforts to fulfill the Right to Education of students with special needs are in keeping with the mandate of Article 31, Paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution, which states that every citizen has the right to receive an education.
Thus, she added, all plans and measures to fulfill the rights of students with special needs must be carried out seriously, both by the government and other relevant parties.
The MPR deputy speaker said that since the state of education is still varied in the country, inclusive education implementation can provide opportunities for all children to learn in a decent environment and in accordance with their individual needs.
In addition, she underscored that efforts to realize inclusive education must be prepared thoroughly with stages that can be understood and implemented by stakeholders at the central and regional levels as well as educational institutions.
