Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) continues to demonstrate its commitment in One Stop Solution by completing strategic projects with high quality. In December 2024, construction work on the Flyover Bridge Connecting Shangri-La Hotel & Shangri-La Residences Project in Central Jakarta has achieved significant progress of 90.14% until November 2024.

This project is an important part of the infrastructure development efforts in the Shangri-La area. WSBP is trusted to build an overpass that connects Shangri-La Hotel and Shangri-La Residences with a road length of 90 meters, a planned speed of 30 km/h, and a lane width of 3 meters with a two-lane configuration.

“The project started in January 2024 with a completion target of January 2025. With the progress that has been made to date, WSBP is optimistic that it can be completed on time and of course while maintaining the quality of construction work for our customers,” said Fandy Dewanto, Head of WSBP's Corporate Secretary Division.

To date, various main works have been successfully completed, including the installation of 47 points of Bored Pile, 16 Pile Cap, 7 Ground Beam, 26 Columns, 208 m³ Beam with total volume, and 2 PT Beam (in situ girder).

With a closed operation system and pavement construction in the form of composite pavement, this project also features a bridge unit that has been carefully planned. Product mobilization included delivery of concrete using Truck Mixer, iron using Truck Trailer, diesel using tank truck, and natural materials using Dump Truck. WSBP ensures that every stage of work is carried out with the support of reliable human resources and the latest construction technology to maintain quality and efficiency.

This project not only provides direct benefits in the form of connectivity in the Shangri-La area, but also opens up new contract opportunities for WSBP in the future. One of the anticipated opportunities is the Boundary Wall work on the north and south sides of Shangri-La Residences which is planned to be implemented in 2025.

“The success of this project is clear evidence of WSBP's ability to manage complex and strategic construction projects from the private sector. This project is also an important step in strengthening WSBP's business portfolio as a One Stop Solution in the concrete industry,” added Fandy.

With high optimism, WSBP continues to be committed to completing this project on time, while still implementing Good Corporate Governance and integrated risk management. Through this achievement, WSBP hopes to continue to be trusted to work on other infrastructure projects, both
from the government and private sectors, at home and abroad.
