Jakarta (ANTARA) - State railway operator's tourism subsidiary PT KAI Wisata on Thursday launched the Java Priority Train connecting Gambir Station and Yogyakarta for the holiday period.

"We are very happy to launch the inaugural trip of the Gambir-Yogyakarta Java Priority Train route to support the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holiday trips of customers," president director of KAI Wisata, Hendy Helmi, said here on Thursday.

According to an official statement released by KAI Wisata, the Java Priority Train, which offers round trips from Gambir to Yogyakarta, will operate until January 5, 2025.
