"The non-state budget funding for development is important besides the state budget. because Bappenas is obligated to keep economic growth high, even with a change in budget," he said.
Speaking at a leadership meeting, as quoted from a ministry's statement, here on Sunday, Pambudy encouraged ministries and agencies to utilize non-state budget financing sources, such as grants and foreign investments.
During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of following up on Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2025, which concerns budget efficiency in the 2025 state budget.
After the signing of the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) by President Prabowo Subianto, he stated that Bappenas must adjust the Government Work Plan (RKP) of ministries and agencies to accommodate those affected by the budget cut.
Meanwhile, Bappeanas' Deputy for Development Financing and Investment Putut Satyaka explained that this follow-up aims to maintain national priorities, especially the main priorities of President Prabowo.
Some of President Prabowo's top programs include the Free Nutritious Meal, achieving food, water, and energy self-sufficiency, improving education and health, reducing poverty, and boosting downstreaming.
Bappenas will also hold a trilateral meeting with other ministries, government agencies, and the Finance Ministry to discuss budget revisions in each ministry and agency before February 14, 2025.
Bappenas is one of the ministries affected by Presidential Instruction No. 1/2025, with a budget efficiency of 54.7 percent, or amounting to Rp1,077 trillion from Bappenas budget ceiling for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
The remaining budget after the efficiency policy will be focused on financing national priority activities, activities mandated by the National Development Planning System Law, and the ministry's operational activities.
