South Tangerang, Banten (ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Muhaimin Iskandar, has urged all members of President Prabowo Subianto's Red and White Cabinet to intensify their efforts in fulfilling their duties.

His statement came in response to speculation about a possible Cabinet reshuffle.

"Certainly, everyone in the government must put in more effort; in fact, the President has directly communicated with his ministers," he said here on Monday.

He added that President Prabowo has instructed his Cabinet to continue delivering their best performance.

Regarding the reshuffle, Iskandar emphasized that it serves as a reminder for government officials to stay aligned with the administration’s vision and mission.

"Not only ministers but also echelon-1 officials who fail to meet their targets will be replaced," he stated.

When asked about the timing of the Cabinet reshuffle, he deferred to President Prabowo. "I have no information on this. It is the President's prerogative," he added.

Earlier, on February 5, 2025, Prabowo had said that he would replace ministers and heads of government agencies if they did not perform their duties properly.

"The people expect a government that is clean and effective, the one that works properly. I want to ensure that this is upheld," he added.

"The interests are solely for the nation and the people, there are no other interests. Those who do not genuinely work for the people will be removed," he continued.
