“Maybe one thing I can do is to organize a welcome ceremony featuring a horse parade, which I think is a great idea. We will also involve military troops and make other preparations,” he remarked.
The Turkish president shared his welcome plan for Prabowo’s upcoming state visit during a talk show streamed on YouTube from Jakarta on Friday.
President Erdogan expressed his admiration and amazement at the high level of hospitality he received from President Prabowo and the Indonesian public during his state visit to Indonesia on February 11-12.
Hence, the Turkish head of state voiced his commitment to offering the finest welcome ceremony to leave President Prabowo with a positive impression of Turkiye during his planned visit.
“I think it is impossible to recreate an atmosphere identical to what I experienced (in Indonesia). Nevertheless, I will exert my utmost to provide the best possible welcome,” he stated.
He also confirmed that the Indonesian president is set to visit his country to participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum scheduled for April 11 and 12 this year.
"We will initially meet in Ankara before taking a trip to Ankara together to attend the diplomacy forum," he pointed out.
This year's Antalya Diplomacy Forum will raise the theme of "Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World."
Through its fourth iteration, the forum aims to stress the pivotal role diplomacy can play in stabilizing nations amid global conflicts that could threaten unity.
