"This will serve as a guide for government agencies and all participants who have passed the selection process, including those who are still undergoing the selection process," Widyantini remarked here on Friday.
The minister noted that the simultaneous civil servant candidate appointment process will require additional time due to the need for careful and cautious execution.
Consequently, the Ministry of PAN-RB and BKN aim to schedule the simultaneous CASN appointments for October 1, 2025, and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) for March 1, 2026.
Widyantini emphasized that the revised appointment schedule is a collective decision between the government and the House of Representatives (DPR).
"Participants who have passed the selection process will still be appointed as civil servants or PPPK according to the schedule agreed upon by the government and the DPR," she remarked.
She explained that several challenges, including discrepancies in the effective dates of civil servant appointments across agencies, necessitated the schedule adjustment.
Secondly, there was a need for further alignment of data regarding civil servant formations, positions, and placements, and third, some government agencies still required more time to complete the civil servant procurement process.
Furthermore, some government agencies indicated they needed additional time to arrange the civil servant formation.
The government conducted the CASN selection in 2024, with 248,970 formations for CPNS and 1,017,111 for PPPK.
The CPNS selection was held starting in August 2024, followed by the PPPK stage I in September 2024 and PPPK stage II in January 2025.
