“We have signed a number of memoranda of understanding related to Kadin’s four quick-win programs, including one to support the MBG program,” Kadin Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie noted in a statement received here on Saturday.
To contribute to the nutritional program set as a priority by President Prabowo Subianto, Bakrie said that Kadin plans to establish 100 special kitchens — officially called Nutritional Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) — before August 17 this year.
Bakrie suggested that this plan aligns with the government’s decision to shoot up the target for SPPG formation this year, from 11 thousand to 30 thousand nationwide.
He also encouraged business actors to participate in this program by supplying the necessary food ingredients and materials to SPPGs.
Furthermore, he emphasized that Kadin views the MBG program as crucial for improving people's living standards across the country.
The Kadin leader then mentioned that his organization would also support the implementation of the Free Health Checks program.
He said that this program, which aims to ensure broader access to disease early detection services, can help reduce medical treatment costs and, in turn, boost the national economy.
“Third, we have a program that aims to provide habitable and affordable housing, an initiative we launched several days ago. The plan is to coordinate this program with our branch offices across provinces as well as to collaborate with state-owned enterprises for available land plots,” he remarked.
Regarding the final quick-win program, Bakrie highlighted the one focused on Indonesian migrant workers, specifically those with medical competencies.
