"We are making history. President Prabowo invites us to build history and lay the foundations for Golden Indonesia 2045," Pambudy said on Saturday.
Quoting Prabowo, he stated, "To build lasting institutions, we must educate our people."
“We are now developing our human resources to prepare for Indonesia 2045,” Pambudy added.
Pambudy highlighted the government’s free meals program, emphasizing the crucial role of nutrition in human resource development.
He asserted that the program would enhance physical growth, intelligence, and overall cognitive abilities.
Pambudy stressed the importance of prioritizing nutrition before education, citing research that suggests a strong link between food intake, health, and behavior.
"Nutrition directly affects human health and behavior," he remarked.
He emphasized the nobility of providing nourishment to hungry children, the younger generation, and pregnant women.
Through the free meals program, the government aims to address alarming statistics, including 180 million Indonesians suffering from malnutrition, 50,000 babies born with disabilities annually, 1 million people exposed to tuberculosis, and 100,000 tuberculosis-related deaths each year.
"However, job creation alone will not solve the issue of malnutrition," Pambudy explained. "Addressing nutritional deficiencies is essential for building a healthy and productive population."
The Golden Indonesia 2045 vision is a government initiative to transform the country into a sovereign, advanced, fair, and prosperous nation by its centennial in 2045.
Coinciding with the country’s 100th independence anniversary, Indonesia is expected to become a developed nation, supported by its demographic bonus and industrialization.
