During a simultaneous harvest across 14 provinces led directly by President Prabowo Subianto in Majalengka, West Java, on Monday, Sulaiman stated that fertilizer distribution has been simplified, now flowing directly from the Ministry of Agriculture to fertilizer factories and then to farmers.
"This is a revolution in the agriculture sector," he noted in a statement.
The minister credited this transformation to the policy of President Prabowo Subianto who issued a Presidential Instruction to streamline the distribution of fertilizers for farmers across Indonesia.
The minister also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to President Prabowo for his commitment and full support for the national agricultural sector, which directly benefits farmers' welfare.

Sulaiman emphasized that the current achievement resulted from cross-sector synergy and swift responses from both central and regional governments in addressing national food challenges.
He noted that the current paddy price has reached Rp6,500 (around US$0.38) per kilogram, an increase that favors farmers and reflects the tangible outcomes of the president's policies that are supportive of farmers.
Additionally, he emphasized that the water pumping program has also successfully increased rice production on Java Island by 2.8 million tons despite challenges posed by the prolonged El Nino phenomenon.
"Meanwhile, data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) noted that national rice production for the January to March 2025 period has reached 52 percent of the total annual target," he remarked.
Previously, Sulaiman stated that his ministry aims for national rice production to reach 32 million tons in 2025 to support food security and self-sufficiency goals set by President Prabowo for 2027.
