Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian stated that the retreat is intended for leaders who were declared winners of last year's regional elections following the resolution of electoral disputes by the Constitutional Court (MK).
The MK has ordered re-voting in several regions, with Papua province being the only one yet to hold a repeat election.
"For the gubernatorial level, only one region remains to conduct re-voting, which is Papua province," Karnavian said on Thursday.
He added that President Prabowo Subianto will not conduct another mass inauguration for district and municipal leaders who have won their electoral disputes.
"District heads and mayors will be inaugurated by their respective governors. In other words, there will be no event like the simultaneous inauguration held on February 20," Karnavian said.
During the February inauguration, President Prabowo swore in a total of 961 regional leaders at the State Palace. The following day, over 500 of them began a one-week national retreat at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java.
