According to the Ministry of Manpower's press release here on Monday, Minister Yassierli met with the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Abdulrahman Al Awar, who also serves as acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
During discussions, Yassierli proposed collaboration for deploying interns and preparing Indonesian workers for the UAE by sending them first to participate in training programs at Work Training Centers (BLK).
"The BLKs in Indonesia are ready to train prospective workers according to the skills required by employers in the UAE," Yassierli stated.
In response to this offer, Minister Abdurahman Al Awar confirmed the UAE's openness to accepting interns across industries and welcomed this cooperation initiative.

Both parties agreed to promptly follow up on this proposal with further discussions at the technical level.
In addition to the UAE, Minister Yassierli also held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Manpower of China Wang Xiaoping.
Yassierli highlighted Indonesia's regulations fostering a business-friendly climate and expressed his side's readiness to share labor regulation details, particularly on industrial relations, to attract investment from Chinese companies in Indonesia.
"We are ready to provide competent Indonesian workers in accordance with the needs of the Chinese industry through training programs at BLKs," Yassierli affirmed.
Minister Wang Xiaoping welcomed the proposal and invited the Indonesian delegation to visit China to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and assist Indonesia in preparing a workforce that better aligns with the demands of Chinese companies operating in Indonesia.
