The meeting, which took place at 11:15 a.m. local time at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, was attended by 19 guests, including leaders from South Korea's prominent industries, such as representatives from Hyundai and Lotte Group.
"We are talking about Lotte, Hyundai, and so on," Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated before the meeting.
During the meeting, President Prabowo was accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister Hartarto, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and CEO of Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund Danantara, Rosan Roeslani.
According to the official FKI website, the organization, established in 1961, has been an important part of South Korea's economic growth journey.
In facing challenges due to the global economy and industry dynamics, the FKI is committed to accelerating economic transformation by fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, pioneering future industries, and creating quality jobs.

With the principle of "Serving the Nation through Business," FKI aims to expand dialogue with society, bridge social gaps, and strengthen collaboration among the business world, the government, and global partners.
Currently, FKI has 420 members, including GS Corporation, Samsung Electronics, Kumho Industrial, Korean Airlines, Hanwha Corporation, Hyundai Motor, Daelim Industrial, LG, POSCO, Doosan Construction, as well as 21 foreign-invested companies and 65 organizations.
FKI covers several business sectors, including 38.1 percent in manufacturing, 8.6 percent in wholesale and retail, 6.4 percent in business services, 3.6 percent in transportation, and 1.9 percent in electronics and gas.
