Speaking to ANTARA on Friday, Fizzanty stated that the momentum of Hardiknas 2025 offers an opportunity to reflect on the progress the country's education has made and the direction it is heading in.
“Education is not merely a program, curriculum, or facilities. It is the heartbeat of the nation's future,” she stated.
She praised several positive programs in Indonesian education, including the government’s attention to teachers’ welfare, the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, school revitalization, and expanded access to education for vulnerable groups.
She observed that the government and stakeholders have been making significant efforts through programs, such as MBG, establishing Sekolah Unggul or top schools, and improving local schools.

“This is a form of attention to equitable access to education, which has long been a major challenge,” she remarked.
According to Fizzanty, the government's steps to increase allowances for teachers and lecturers reflect growing recognition that educational quality depends on the well-being and competence of educators.
“Education is no longer a standalone, but now, it is linked to character building, children's mental health, and the future of the nation's ecosystem as a whole," she remarked.
Furthermore, she highlighted several areas for improvement in national education, such as disparities in education quality across regions, insufficient character development amid academic pressures, and weak digital literacy in some areas.
