"Within six months of our rule, the government has made noteworthy progress, addressed fundamental matters, and strengthened the foundation for the rise of our nation. We have formulated 28 new policies," he said.
At a plenary Cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Monday, he emphasized that the newly introduced policies are directly aimed at improving the well-being of the Indonesian people.
The policies have been translated into over 100 instruments, including presidential regulations, government regulations, presidential instructions, and circular letters.
Despite this achievement, the President reminded his aides to objectively evaluate the Cabinet's performance to avoid falling into a deceptive sense of complacency.
"Without objectivity, we risk believing we are successful when we are not. We might convince ourselves that our policy direction is effective, even when it is not," he told the ministers.
The head of state underscored that poor decision-making among top officials can trigger a domino effect and ultimately, harm those at lower levels of society
"Erroneous high-level decisions could be a burden to those at the lowest level," he said.
President Prabowo presided over the plenary Cabinet meeting at his office on Monday afternoon, alongside Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
The meeting, which marked the third session for this year, drew participation from nearly all ministers and heads of central government agencies.
At the previous plenary Cabinet meeting on March 21, 2025, the President and his aides exchanged views on the government's preparations for Eid al-Fitr.
