"PFN is open to cooperation with various countries, including both government bodies and foreign private companies. We aim to expand access to technology for Indonesian films," said Ihsan Chairdiansyah, Head of Corporate Secretary at PFN, in a press release on Friday.
PFN representatives recently met with delegates from the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Alibaba Digital Media & Entertainment Group (YOUKU), Huace Group, the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA), and the Vice President of Coolita to discuss potential synergies in various aspects of film production and development.
The discussion focused on opportunities for collaboration in co-producing films and short series, film investment, and the transfer of virtual production technology, which has become a new standard in the global content industry.

Such collaboration could also open opportunities to enhance the capacity of Indonesian film professionals on the international stage.
Chairdiansyah emphasized that this initiative is part of the company’s strategy to build partnerships that support both technological access and global market expansion, while respecting the diversity of local culture.
He also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to establishing cross-border cooperation with both governments and private companies abroad.
The move reflects PFN’s increasing commitment to playing a strategic role in the evolving Asian content industry and to acting as a bridge between local creators and the global ecosystem.
