This was confirmed by the Head of Public Communication and Information Bureau, Aji Muhawarman, in Jakarta on Wednesday.
He stated that the highest positivity rate in 2025 was recorded during the 19th week of 2025, reaching 3.62 percent.
"We have prepared health service facilities in accordance with the circular that has been distributed," he remarked.
He explained that the circular was sent to health facilities and stakeholders, urging them to monitor the situation closely and stay updated on global COVID-19 developments through official government and WHO websites.
Facilities are also urged to remain vigilant by monitoring and verifying trends in influenza-like illness (ILI), severe acute respiratory infections (SARI), pneumonia, and COVID-19 cases through the Early Alertness and Response System (SKDR).

Additionally, Muhawarman appealed to the public to help prevent COVID-19 transmission by maintaining a strong immune system through a clean and healthy lifestyle, including eating nutritious food and washing hands with soap.
He also advised the community to consult a doctor or visit the nearest health facility if symptoms worsen.
Nevertheless, he confirmed that there are currently no travel restrictions for people entering or leaving the country.
Earlier, the Health Ministry's spokesperson, Widyawati, stated on Tuesday that all seven COVID-19 patients reported in the 22nd week of 2025 have recovered.
She revealed that as of Tuesday afternoon, the ministry had not received conclusive data on potential fluctuations in COVID-19 cases across various regions.
