“I am not planning a reshuffle, as according to my evaluation, my team has been working well,” he told the press after closing the International Conference on Infrastructure 2025 at JCC Senayan in Jakarta on Thursday.
Describing his Cabinet as a solid team that is delivering a favorable performance, Prabowo stressed that inputs and criticism directed toward the government are simply natural in a democracy.
“In a government, in a democracy, criticism is natural, and it is impossible for us to please everyone. However, as a user, as the person in charge, I am convinced that my ministers have been serving well,” he expounded.
However, the head of state acknowledged the need for his ministers to improve communication with the public.

“It is true that they sometimes misspoke, but most importantly, they are working well. We have a good and cohesive team,” he reiterated.
The president further emphasized that his administration is built on the principle of loyalty to the state.
“This is not about who they are. Our principle dictates that loyalty to groups or parties must end once someone begins service for the state. The parties have given me their best cadres,” he added.
Earlier, on Tuesday, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi made a similar statement, affirming that a Cabinet reshuffle is unlikely as the government is focusing on addressing a range of cross-sectoral issues.
“As I said earlier, there is no plan (for a reshuffle) as of today,” he told the media at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta.
He also appealed to the public to avoid spreading rumors regarding a possible reshuffle.
