President Prabowo Subianto’s goal of forming 80 thousand Red and White Village Cooperatives has been achieved. As of 5:30 p.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB) on Monday, 80,002 village cooperatives have been established in the country.
To ensure that the cooperatives operate as expected, Setiadi affirmed that the government has and will prepare strong policies and focus on measurable risk mitigation and cooperative digitalization.
These steps are important so that the program not only achieves its target in terms of numbers, but also in terms of implementation quality, and aligns with its objectives.
After the establishment of the village cooperatives, the next stage will be accelerating the legalization of the cooperatives, which is targeted for completion in late June 2025.
