At the TB-Alert Village Joint Movement in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday, he informed that currently, at least 8.2 million people have accessed the health services provided by the program, and their number is expected to rise once the program is implemented in schools.
“The CKG provides an overview to the government about the treatments that are needed. Therefore, we invite the public to make the most of this service,” he said.
At the event on Wednesday, Tangerang Mayor Sachrudin said that 39,779 residents have used the free health screening service at community health centers in the city. He then appealed to the public to use the service to prevent non-communicable diseases.
Earlier, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that 8.2 million Indonesians have benefited from free health screenings so far, and 8.7 million people have registered for the program since its launch in February 2025.
Three provinces have recorded the highest screening coverage—Central Java, East Java, and West Java. Meanwhile, more women have participated in the program compared to men.
According to the minister, the most common diseases detected through the program include dental problems, hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.
The Ministry of Health has expressed optimism about the CKG program covering 100 million people this year, given the current pace of the program and its scheduled rollout in schools in August.
