"KAI Group, through KCIC, is launching a special group travel promotion with discounts ranging from 10 to 20 percent for customers using the Whoosh service throughout June and July 2025," KAI Vice President of Public Relations, Anne Purba, stated in Jakarta on Sunday.
She explained that the promotion applies to groups of at least 20 people on a single departure schedule, with reservations required no later than five days in advance via WhatsApp at 0813-4000-2920.
Anne noted that group travel requests have surged since the holiday season began.
"On regular days, we receive about 30 group inquiries per day. During the school holidays, this has increased to over 50 groups daily," she remarked.
Since early June of 2025, over 250 groups have made reservations -- a figure expected to grow until the holiday period ends.
Since its commercial debut in October 2023, the Whoosh service has accommodated over 4,800 group trips, serving a total of 350 thousand passengers.
She remarked that the promotion not only offers discounts but also includes other conveniences such as shared seating arrangements, a simple reservation process, and a flexible payment system -- ideal for extended families, schools, community groups, and institutions.
"We encourage the public to experience the ease of traveling together with Whoosh. Group vacations can now be more economical, practical, and enjoyable," Anne stated.
