The government aims to further boost the sales of halal products in Australia by expanding market access through cooperation with GAHC, a foreign halal institution established by the Indonesian diaspora in Australia. She stated that the institution is committed to increasing opportunities for Indonesian halal products to meet Australian consumer demand.

"We are working with GAHC to develop the market and promote exports of Indonesian halal products in the Australian market. This agreement will remain in effect for two years," Puntodewi explained.
