“The President has emphasized that policies and how we communicate them are equally important. He has demanded that the pace and quality of both policy and communication be aligned,” Nasbi said in response to a question posed by ANTARA in Jakarta on Monday.
He made the remarks in reference to Prabowo’s closed-door meeting with several government and state-owned enterprise spokespersons, including PCO officials, on June 26, 2025, during which the President also highlighted anti-corruption efforts.
“The President has consistently raised the issue of corruption in both private and public forums throughout his nine months in office. This reflects his dedication to combating corruption,” the official said.
Nasbi added that Prabowo’s steadfast anti-corruption stance has led to the uncovering of several major cases.
“By minimizing state losses, we can redirect otherwise lost funds to productive initiatives, such as those aimed at enhancing energy and food self-sufficiency to strengthen national resilience,” he emphasized.
He informed that in addition to corruption, President Prabowo is focusing on addressing drug abuse and trafficking, smuggling, and online gambling.
As a follow-up to Thursday’s meeting, the PCO and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs convened a session with several ministries and agencies, he said.
“We organized a two-day meeting for communication teams from several ministries and agencies responsible for supporting the quick-win and priority programs. The event was expected to help them fully understand the President’s policy direction and grand vision,” he added.
