"On Sunday afternoon, President Prabowo Subianto organised a limited cabinet meeting with ministers of the Red and White Cabinet at Halim Perdanakusuma Airfield in Jakarta," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated on the Presidential Secretariat's official Instagram.
Wijaya explained that the cabinet meeting discussed government programmes, current issues such as rice and food availability, the development of fishing villages, and the president's incoming agenda.
The meeting also discussed the preparation of Red-and-White Village Cooperatives (Kopdes Merah Putih) in various regions and the implementation of advanced education initiatives for young economists, according to the cabinet secretary.
As depicted in the Instagram post, present at the meeting were Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan and Cooperatives Minister Budi Arie Setiadi, along with Deputy Minister Ferry Juliantono.
Marine and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Higher Education, Science, and Technology Minister Brian Yuliarto, Deputy Agriculture Minister Sudaryono, as well as State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi and Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, also attended the limited meeting.
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to launch the Red-and-White cooperatives in Klaten, Central Java, on Monday (July 21).
Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Head Hasan Nasbi described the cooperatives as the president's three programmes in poverty eradication missions, along with the tuition-free Sekolah Rakyat (People's School) and free health check programmes.
