He then thanked his ranks for their hard work and collaboration.
“Without your hard work as a team, we would not have achieved what we have today. In such a short time, we have achieved so much,” he told the Red and White Cabinet members during a Plenary Cabinet Session on Wednesday.
“The strategies are starting to show results, which shows that we have taken the right path,” he added.
He then cited the current global geopolitical and geoeconomic turmoil as a challenge to his transformation strategy.

The Head of State referred to the impact of war and armed conflicts in several countries, such as the Ukraine-Russia war, the genocide in Gaza, Israel’s military aggression in the West Bank, the India-Pakistan war, the Thailand-Cambodia armed conflict, the civil war in Myanmar, and the global economic turmoil caused by the US tariffs.
“I understand that this situation is testing our grand strategy—the transformation strategy that I launched at the beginning, even before I was inaugurated as President,” he added.
He said that the National Transformation Strategy is rooted in realism and real conditions at home, the region, and the world.
“This situation cannot be faced with theory or wishful thinking. Idealism is necessary, but realism is what will save us. We must realistically view the situation and take action,” he emphasized.
Prabowo led the Plenary Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Office, Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
It was the eighth Plenary Cabinet Meeting led by Prabowo and Gibran since they took office on October 20, 2024.
