"One potential collaboration we are undertaking is training young affiliates in various villages to help sell and promote creative products from the villages," Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya stated during a working visit to Padang, West Sumatra, on Saturday.
The minister explained that the affiliate training program is a joint initiative between the Creative Economy Ministry and the Cooperative Ministry to support the development of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative, initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.
He sees affiliates or content creators as individuals who can or have the potential to help promote creative economy products.
At the same time, affiliate and content creator work has also become increasingly promising amid advances in information technology.

On that occasion, Harsya stated that the Creative Economy Ministry and the Cooperatives Ministry had established a partnership and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on developing the Merah Putih Village Cooperative.
The collaboration between the two ministries is expected to accelerate the development of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative, a flagship program of President Prabowo.
This strategic policy is expected to have a direct impact on economic growth in the Minangkabau region.
The Creative Economy Ministry ensured that the government would always provide solutions for creative economy entrepreneurs.
"The role of the central and regional governments is to provide access to funding for creative economy entrepreneurs," he remarked.
So far, the financing and capital can be in the form of grants, loans from Himbara banks, investment assistance, and business matching.
"Therefore, the government, especially the Creative Economy Ministry, continues to actively seek capital channels to keep our creative economy players running," he stated.
