Accessed through the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel, the President was seen smiling as he moved his hands and shoulders to the rhythm of the song.
He appeared relaxed and joyful, adding to the lively atmosphere in front of the honorary podium.
Several state officials, including Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, also joined in the dance in front of the honorary tent.
The joy extended to the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) personnel, who danced enthusiastically—stomping their feet, clapping their hands, and moving in sync with the beat.
Members of the Flag-Raising Troop (Paskibraka), who had completed their duty of raising the flag, also joined in the festivity, swaying to the music.

Laughter and applause from the guests further enlivened the celebration, creating an unforgettable moment to conclude the series of ceremonies marking the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence at the Merdeka Palace.
In addition to the Tabola Bale performance, the celebration also featured more than 1,000 dancers from across the archipelago, showcasing traditional dances and martial arts as part of the Independence Day festivities.
The flag-raising ceremony was led by President Prabowo Subianto, who made his debut in the role this year.
The theme of the 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, “United and Sovereign, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia,” reflects the spirit of nationalism that must be preserved as the foundation for progress.
Several activities were also held to enliven the celebrations, including the Red and White Flag Parade, the Proclamation Text reading, the People’s Carnival, and the Independence Carnival.
