"There should be a Batak Museum — not just a display space, but a living hub for education, storytelling, and literacy. It should become a true cultural ecosystem," Zon said during the 7th anniversary celebration of Batak Center.
He said the event's theme,"Weaving the Diversity of Nusantara Culture Toward a Golden Indonesia", reflects President Prabowo Subianto's vision for cultural advancement.
Zon noted that under Prabowo's leadership, Indonesia now has a standalone Ministry of Culture for the first time in the nation's 79-year history.
This marks a major shift in national priorities and proves the president's commitment to culture as a foundation of our identity, Zon said.

"Our rich diversity, expressed in Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity), should not be seen as a threat but as a source of unity and strength," he added.
Batak Center Secretary General Jerry R. Sirait also underscored the role of culture in fostering national unity, connecting it to the spirit of the 1928 Youth Pledge and Indonesia's declaration of independence.
The event concluded with a joint agreement between Batak Center and the Nusantara Royal Palaces Fellowship Forum (FSKN) to strengthen strategic cooperation in cultural preservation, research, and development.
The partnership aims to sustain Batak and broader Nusantara traditions and values through collaborative initiatives.
