Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa will redo some portions of the state budget (APBN) to allocate for the year-end stimulus program.

Sadewa confirmed that the budget reallocation will be imposed on the least urgent spending, and he is still monitoring and gauging the budget lines that will be affected by the initiative.

He stressed that the year-end stimulus is not sourced from a new line of budgeting.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that they are still calculating and discussing the total budget for the stimulus.

The government is rolling out a 2025 economic package comprising eight programs for 2025, four programs for 2026, and five employment programs.

Among the eight 2025 programs are internships for university graduates, income tax relief for the tourism sector, food aid comprising 10kg of rice for the October-November period, and accident and death insurance for non-wage recipient workers.
