“We are presenting these honors to officers who have made significant contributions and demonstrated unwavering dedication throughout their careers,” Prabowo said aboard the state warship KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat.
He stressed that even after leaving active duty, the honorees continued to serve the country and uphold the values of loyalty and duty.
Among the recipients was Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Herman Bernhard Leopold Mantiri, a former Commander of Military District Command IX/Udayana, who was granted the honorary rank of general. Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Bibit Waluyo, former Commander of the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Kostrad), received the same title.

From the Navy, Vice Admiral (Ret.) Didit Herdiawan, a former TNI Chief of General Staff and now Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, was granted the honorary rank of admiral. Vice Admiral (Ret.) Achmad Taufiqoerrochman, former head of the Maritime Security Agency, also received the title.
From the Air Force, Vice Marshal (Ret.) Donny Ermawan Taufanto, now Deputy Defense Minister, was named honorary air marshal, while Rear Marshal (Ret.) Bonar H. Hutagaol received the honorary rank of vice marshal.
From the Army, honorary lieutenant general ranks were awarded to retired major generals Lodewijk Pusung, Untung Budiharto, Dadang Hendrayudha, and Surawahadi.
Colonel (Ret.) Restu Widiyantoro, currently president director of state-owned tin miner PT Timah, was awarded the honorary rank of brigadier general.
