"FIKSI 2025 is expected to be a platform for students to turn ideas into actionable solutions with social and economic value in their communities," said Maria Veronica Irene Herdjiono, head of the ministry's National Achievement Center, on Tuesday.
The festival, held from October 26 to 31, features activities such as work assessments, innovation exhibitions, entrepreneurship workshops, mentoring, and pitching sessions before a panel of judges.
This year, 337 participants from 176 teams across 24 provinces advanced to the national level, selected from 2,774 registered teams from senior high schools.
FIKSI 2025 is divided into two main categories — business plans and business development — with 11 activity branches covering agribusiness, agritech and maritime, fashion, games, film and music industry, animation and video, health, crafts, culinary, tourism and fine arts, digital technology, and social entrepreneurship.
Irene emphasized that FIKSI is not just a competition but a space for collaboration and shared learning.
"Make FIKSI 2025 an opportunity to expand your network, meet peers, and gain benefits for developing Indonesian talent," she said.
Participating teams are expected to become pioneers of change, creating entrepreneurial solutions with positive social and environmental impacts, she added.
Irene also highlighted that FIKSI plays a key role in shaping Indonesian students' character, nurturing creativity, independence, adaptability, social sensitivity, and an entrepreneurial spirit to seize future opportunities.
