The statement followed a limited cabinet meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday.
Airlangga highlighted strong performance across consumption and production indicators.
"The consumer confidence index remains above 100–115, retail sales grew by 5.8 percent, and the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) stood at 50.4," he said.
Investment realization reached Rp1,434.3 trillion, while the Mandiri Spending Index rose to 297, supported by improved banking performance.
On the production side, industrial capacity utilization continues to increase, signaling robust economic activity.
The meeting also reviewed the continuation of flagship cross-sector programs for 2026.
Airlangga said the government has prepared supporting regulations to ensure policy continuity, including the extension of final income tax incentives for MSMEs until 2027, income tax relief (PPh 21) for tourism and labor-intensive sectors, VAT subsidies for housing, and contribution discounts for work accident and death insurance (JKK and JKM).
President Prabowo also emphasized the importance of downstreaming and value-added strategies in agriculture, marine, and fisheries.
Programs under the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries include revitalizing 20,000 hectares of northern coastal ponds, developing integrated shrimp farms in East Nusa Tenggara, modernizing fishing vessels, and expanding the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.
Airlangga noted that all ministries have submitted progress reports on their flagship initiatives, which will be monitored through the end of 2025.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that every policy delivers real benefits to the public and strengthens the national economy.
