He visited vocational high school SMK Negeri 2 Bandung and public high school SMA Negeri 20 Bandung to observe the first day of the test.
“Today marks a historic moment for 12th-grade students across Indonesia taking the TKA. From my observations at these two schools, the preparations and implementation went smoothly. Students took the test with honesty and enthusiasm,” he said in a written statement on Monday.
Latipulhayat also shared words of encouragement, reminding students that each has unique potential. He emphasized that the TKA is not an endpoint, but a tool to measure competence and a stepping stone toward a brighter future.
“Prepare well, take the TKA with confidence, focus, honesty, and joy,” he urged.
At SMK Negeri 2 Bandung, Principal Hasan Iskandar said the school registered 644 students for the 2025 TKA. Preparations included briefings, periodic reviews, simulations, and final checks to ensure the readiness of test rooms and equipment.
“With these preparations, we aim for a safe and successful TKA and hope our students achieve their best results. It also serves as a benchmark for vocational students as they plan their next steps, whether continuing education or entering the workforce,” Iskandar said.
Meanwhile, Principal Aan Hamzah of SMA Negeri 20 Bandung stated that the school was ready to hold the TKA for 360 students. Final preparations included rehearsals following technical guidelines provided by school supervisors.
“We hope all students achieve optimal results and are well-prepared to pursue higher education,” Hamzah said.
