Prabowo arrived at 3:10 p.m. local time and was warmly welcomed by teachers gathered at the venue.
Wearing a cream-colored safari shirt and black peci, the President greeted teachers seated in the front rows.
Several Red and White Cabinet members received him, including Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Pratikno, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, and Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti.
Other attendees included State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Rini Widyantini, Women’s Empowerment Minister Arifatul Choiri Fauzi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and TNI Commander General Agus Subianto.

The ceremony featured the national anthem “Indonesia Raya,” followed by prayers, a musical performance, and a keynote speech by Minister Abdul Mu’ti.
Mu’ti said the President’s attendance reflected strong government focus on education, especially improving the quality of teachers and educational personnel across the country.
He emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in shaping Indonesia’s future, highlighting their service even in remote areas under challenging conditions.
“I cannot imagine what would happen to Indonesia if there were no teachers. We cannot imagine the consequences if teachers refused to teach,” Mu’ti said.
Mu’ti acknowledged the teaching profession is becoming less appealing to younger generations, urging broader public appreciation and support for educators nationwide.
The event showcased the government’s commitment to strengthening education and recognized teachers as central to Indonesia’s development and long-term national progress.
