He said both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance ties that have been well established over the years.
“They discussed our already strong bilateral cooperation. Both the President and the Chairman of China’s parliament reiterated their commitment to continuously deepen cooperation,” Arrmanatha told reporters at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Thursday.
According to him, the meeting did not result in the signing of any new agreements. Instead, Indonesia and China expressed their shared intention to continue advancing their strategic partnership.
“They simply emphasized what has already been undertaken and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation,” he said.

The visit marks an important momentum in bolstering strategic relations and bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and China, particularly in parliamentary diplomacy and future partnership development.
In addition to meeting President Prabowo, the CPPCC Chairman is also scheduled to visit the parliamentary complex in Senayan for meetings with leaders of Indonesia’s MPR, DPR, and DPD.
Those meetings are expected to provide a platform for strategic dialogue on strengthening ties between legislative institutions, expanding economic and socio-cultural cooperation, and exploring possibilities for collaboration on regional and global issues.
The visit underscores both countries’ commitment to building a mutually beneficial future partnership aligned with regional stability and the welfare of their peoples.
