The office's head, Ani Ruspitawati, said on Thursday the services are part of the government's Free Health Check (CKG) Program for passengers and the public.
She said the screenings include mental health self-assessment, tuberculosis checks, smoking behavior, physical activity, nutritional status, blood pressure, random blood sugar tests, counseling and health education.
Screenings also cover anamnesis for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer, she added.
"Specifically for drivers, in addition to the rapid CKG package, breath alcohol tests and urine tests for amphetamines or drugs are conducted to assess fitness to drive," Ruspitawati said.
The services are available at seven bus terminals, two train stations, six tourist destinations, two ports and churches across five areas of Jakarta.
Health personnel deployed include doctors, nurses and laboratory analysts, supported by community health centers (Puskesmas) and regional public hospitals (RSUD).
Based on data from the past three years, the most common health complaints among holiday travelers are hypertension, diabetes, headache syndrome and stomach pain.
